Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages dedicates safe drinking water facilities to the community at Malarpura village



The initiative aims to provide potable water to rural areas


Goblej, Gujarat, May 29, 2017: Reaffirming its commitment to partner with local communities, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCBPL) dedicated an RO system in Malarpura village near its Goblej plant to 100 households. This initiative is aimed at improving access to clean drinking water.

Mr. Kuldeep Arya, District Collector, Kheda dedicated the RO system facilities to the local community in Malarpura village in the presence of senior officials from Hindustan Coca-Cola, other dignitaries and local community members.

The installation of these RO plant with 500 LPH capacity will help in addressing the issue of clean drinking water accessibility in Malarpura.

Mr. Kuldeep Arya appreciated the initiative taken by the company and said that the RO plant will provide easy access to safe drinking water which is a basic need of an individual. The communities will hugely benefit from the initiative.

The impact of the project will be seen in improved ground water condition and community management systems around water both demand and supply. The project is also designed to improve access to safe drinking water for 400 individuals.
